Keeper's Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage set between the villages of Glenridding and Patterdale. The cottage sleeps 2 and has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Keepers Cottage is ideally located to appreciate the Lake Districts natural beauty, with some of the best walking available directly from the doorstep.

Set towards the end of a little access-only lane the cottage will make a relaxing destination for any couple looking for a Lakeland retreat. There are walks from the door for the adventurous or for those that prefer it more easy going - indeed one of the most challenging of Lakeland walks will take you right from the door to the top of Helvellyn via Striding Edge.

Don't miss a cruise on beautiful Ullswater where you can take a steamer ride to Howtown with a walk back along the east side of the lake, or spend a full day sailing up to Pooley Bridge for lunch in one of the many local pubs or cafés. Glenridding and Patterdale make good bases with shops for daily supplies, outdoor equipment and several pubs and eating places all within walking distance.
Accommodation: The cottage is full of character with many original features and beams retained. The front door opens into the living/dining kitchen with a cosy solid fuel stove, comfy seating and warm wooden flooring with rugs. The country style kitchen is well equipped for cooking at home. Upstairs there is a charming double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Outside: There is a private garden and parking for one car. There are lovely views from the the cottage and garden towards Place Fell.
